Got word today that Doug @ American Trike (Keene, NH) is READY for my RSV to arrive at his shop. Weather permitting I will make the final ride on this two wheeler and anxiously await the birth of my Hannigan Trike in the spring. Looking forward to some pics as it morphs.... I see lots of overtime in my future....well at least until riding season!!

If you've never ridden a trike I'd give yourself a week or two to get thru the "learning curve" of trike riding/handling. My first ride home was almost terrifying (smile). I'd personally also recommend not riding the really curvy roads for a few days if possible (re-read the terrifying sentence). Now that I've gotten some miles under my trike, those curvies, gravel roads and similar situations are just another day in the wind for Hannah and I.

I'm just the opposite. I couldn't wait to get in the curves. Got used to that part right away.
I had more trouble learning how to make it go straight. It wasn't the trikes fault, I just kept over correcting. The wife said I had her waiving like a flag in the wind. It took me a couple hundred miles to relax and just let her roll. I got it figured out and now we're both loving it.
I kept hearing it would take around 3k miles to get used to it. I guess I'm a fast learner. 1600 and I'm locked in. :D
And you know the rules, post pics when you get it.ThumbUp
