It's cool to have the new forum! I'm a long ways from being a Spyder RT-S expert but if you have questions I'd be happy to try to answer them. I rode yesterday so I'm up to the grand total of 542 miles! A ride to my dealer in KC MO will get me to the 600 service check! Still a little shaky with the power steering but I'm getting there. I rode in upper 30's and I'm still impressed with the wind protection of this bike. I don't know if this is a pro or con but it's really hard to ride the backroad highways with a 55 mph speed limit. I guess it would be a pro if I don't get any tickets but a con if I do. I don't want to use the cruise much yet so If I don't keep a good watch on my speed pretty soon I'm running at 75 - 77 mph. I'm liking it more every time I take it out.

One of the cons is trying to figure out how to make all of the electronic things do what there supposed to do. I guess I'll have to hire one of the grandkids to help out!:yes:<br />

I wasn't too happy about the riding position to start with, but the more I ride it the better I like it. It seemed too cramped for me but so far the only pain I'm feeling is in the shoulder blades. The shoulder blade thing is mostly because I haven't ridden enough to relax, I'm still holding on to the handgrips too tightly. Cruise control will take care of the shoulder pain, I just would like to get more miles on it before I use it.<br />

i bought both my 2010 rs and now my 2013 rt at renos and was just there on friday geting the recalls done so where in kansas are you m here in ottawa kansas hope you are going to spyderfest ive been 4 years in a rowe,any way have fun and ride like the wind.
