trike games

I'm trying to find a few trike games to play at our GWRRA chapter rally. I have a couple in mind but could use a few more to decide which ones to do.
Any ideas?

Hi Donnie, if you have access to a large smooth parking lot, clear everything out and set up a "blind obsticle course". Take small blocks of wood, painted white, yellow ect. and set up an obsticle course sort of like the gates that snow skiers use (zig -zag). The driver is blindfolded and his/her passenger gives verbal directions to get them through it without touching one. I've seen this done in cars and it's a ball...:eek: Of course it's done at idle speed with hand on clutch and brake. Anything small that won't damage paint or get stuck under the trike can be used..(tennis balls ect..) Only problem is having a nice clear lot or area to do it. Good luck and ride safe.

Some games I have participated in at trike events -

A blind drag. The version that was used was basically a rectangle painted or drawn on the ground a little more than twice as wide as a trike and about 30' long or so. The trikes had a light 21" motorcycle tire tied to the rear by a 10 foot rope. The pilot was blindfolded, and the object was to ride between the lines to the other end of the course, having the trike end up past the finish line and the tire left on the other side of the line. It the trike touched or went over the side line they were out. The trike had to go past the finish line, and the one that ended with the tire closest, but not over the line, was the winner.

We did the baloon toss, passenger tosses a water baloon over a horizontal bar and has to catch it without the baloon breaking. Baloon has to go over the bar, and the bar is raised as the rounds go on. The pilot could not stop the trike, and they marked a rear tire with chalk so a judge could easily see that the wheels kept moving. Wheels stop, that team is out.

The water board game (we call it the Bike Wash) is a good one if it is hot.

We used 5 to 10 2X4s (depending on length of the course) laid out on the ground at various distances, some longer and some shorter than the trikes length to make speed bumps.

The passenger holds a 2X4 over the head of the pilot, and on the 2X4 is a (usually 16oz.) stryrofoam cup filled with cold water. The object is for the passenger to not drop the water on the pilot as the trike rides over the bumps. As the rounds go on cups are added to the 2X4 along it's length. If more than 1 couple makes it that far, we stack the cups in a pyramid, or turn the held 2X4 and place the cups on the narrow side of the board.

BTW... it didn't take too long for us to figure out that a "slow race" on trikes is really boring.
