    Default Thoroughbred Motorsports Stallion 07

Does any Trike forum member still have a stallion? Since they went out of production, we have been pressed to find good sources of information. Finally went to the Ford Ranger forum website and was able to get valuable information there on servicing the 07 stallion.

There are alot of us on this forum. Just FYI the first Stallion was titled a 2008. They are based off of a 2007 Ford Ranger drive train and other Ford parts. If you have questions fire away.

Welcome to the Gang from Western Colorado. Bunch of Stallion owners here.

Just for my own edification (not being a smart a$$, so please don't flame me ... just never talked to a stallion owner in person ... them guys are quick) ... LOL ... but I digress ... Is the correct terminology Stallion Rider or Stallion Driver ... or both??? Always wondered the same thing about Slingshots too.

Welcome to TT. As you have probably read by now, this forum has in its ranks, quite a few Stallion owners, I for one. This forum is probably one of the best, if not the best sources to refer to, with matters dealing with your Stallion. I've gained invaluable information about my Stallion here and you will too. Like Ted (Gorilla) said, "Just ask away..."

Alan, since I'm a Stallion owner, let me share my thoughts about your question as to whether I consider myself a Stallion RIDER or DRIVER. First, let me say that I suppose, because my Stallion has a steering wheel and other controls that are more closely aligned with the operation of a car, the more popular opinion is that I'm a DRIVER. It's funny, but whenever I want to go somewhere with my Stallion, I say to my wife, "Honey, let's go for a ride". Never have I said, … "let's go for a drive". Unlike the Slingshot owners, I sit ON my trike vs IN it. As such, am I more of a RIDER or a DRIVER? I don't know what other Stallion owners consider themselves, but I'll lean towards being a RIDER. But when the dust settles, it really doesn't matter, does it? As I've said before, we're all in the same boat. We have either lost or gained a wheel somewhere along the line. That's what makes us unique and special in our own way.

Where would I find that production number for starters ? I just covered it up an hour ago. I'm lookin for some wind deflectors. Any help on a supplier would be appreciated. Gratias. hoser.

It really doesn't matter .. rider, driver ... it's all good ... as I have never been able to catch one of these things in person ... when I do, better chance on two wheels than on my trikes, didn't want to offend anyone. i do hope to catch one ... kind of like catching a leprechaun, but, no gold at the end ... LOL ... as far as I can tell ... there's only one in my neck of the woods ... gorgeous yellow thing ... but ... the driver/rider drives/rides it like he/she stole it ... maybe he/she did ... LOL ... If I ever get close enough to touch it, I'm sure I'll fall in love with it ... might not be a good thing after all ... I really don't need a new toy ... do I?
