I think that the only company that builds a kit for the shaft driven Kawi's is Hannigan in Kentucky. I used to have a '99 Kawi Nomad, Red.

I believe Hannigan's will only work with the 2001 & Up Models...
I've checked all of them and they only do the newer ones, nobody does the older carburetor ones , thought i might find somebody on here that has done it or knows what kind of Differential i could use.
I don't understand what they a claiming the difference is. All the frames between the 1500's were the same. Beginning in 2001 they shifted to fuel injection so the heads were slightly different. (Bolt holes for intake manifold were different. The 1600 cc Kawi's had a slightly longer swingarm and driveshaft. I put a 2005 1600 cc motor in a 1999 Nomad and only had to drill and tap two bolt holes for the intake manifold.

Obviously,,, they are absolutely NOT the same or at least posses enough differences that a Conversion Kit for the 2001 & Up Models will not bolt up to a 2000 & down.
Does anybody honestly think that a Company who produces and makes money by selling Trike Kits would just arbitrarily turn away easy business and sales simply for giggles????
Seriously. That's abjectly ludicrous
Also FYI, a few of the 1500 Models utilized the longer Swingarm and Shaft as well.
Might check here.Their site just says Kawasaki vulcans so maybe they do the older ones. http://www.trikingtrikes.com/

Yeah there the ones that told me it was to old.
I have 29.000 on it with a new rebuilt engine from kawasak iwith less than 2000 miles on the engine new tires battery all the chrome that could be put on it , garage kept. Hell its like new.
They said it would be a waste of money for something that old.
I thought it was my money!
Might consider an outrigger kit.
My '94 Vulcan 1500 has a Tow-Pac on it and it works great.
It had 19,000 miles on it when I got it in July 2013; and now has 28,000 on it and not had one bit of trouble with it.
