Just curious to know if anybody on the forum has installed a DFT kit...
They are extremely thin on the ground in Victoria Australia, in fact I may be the only one

I don't have a problem, just be good to speak to somebody who's gone the same route as me... perhaps swap a few ideas.

Mine is a DFT but on the 1500. I was at a show in NEW York and I saw the DFT Valc. very nice . I talked to the owner of DFT ( a good friend of mine ) there are only a handfull of them out there. there is a picture of the owner standing next to my trike in my album
Look under my Americade album There it is parked at the DFT booth . that's Leon in the blue shirt.

I know of Leon only through Debbie... the girl/lady who used to do the 'to and fro' emails between me and DFT during the (frustrating) construction period. But It amazes me when you say there only a handful of DFT kits 'out there'... I assumed there'd be a whole bunch of 'em chewing up the highways.

I'm absolutely stoked at the workmanship in that rear end, and I assume mine would be the same as yours except maybe for a few odds and ends. The Valk is also a 1500 F6, but the tub is a completely different shape to the one for the Goldwing. (your trike looks trick btw ) Pics in my album Mr Bumbles will show you the rear end I've installed... same as yours?

The distributor in Australia from where I purchased the kit, did so as a favor to me 'cos he new I was handy with bikes and cars, and we're 2,600 Kilometres apart  But that's where I first saw the conversion whilst attending an AGM in Townsville a few years back. I think he'd built about 5 or 6 Valks, and a number of Goldwings. Only took me two years to 'rake up' the cash to convert my bike... But definitely no regrets

Thanx for responding to my post John. :D
