is anyone using the 34 inch wide axle on a softail standard. If so is there room for the stock passenger foot pegs I like the looks of the narrower width but my wife rides behind me and she needs foot pegs also I worry about her foot getting caught in the tire

maybe I worded my question wrong. Is anyone using the 34 inch wide Frankenstein axle on a softail standard and if they are do the passenger foot pegs have adequate clearance with the rear wheels

If there is not enough clearance to be safe you can relocate the passenger pegs and at the same time make it more comfortable for your wife i.e. down and forward. You can make a simple relocation bracket from 1/4 inch aluminum plate probably

There must be a reason why Frankenstein supplies the 38"( not the 34" as on my Sportster) in the kit,ya think? Contact them,they know their product. Excellent product.
