I've read numerous posts about the benefits of putting rear tire on front. This may seem like a dumb question-Can I put a Michelin Commander 150/90-15 rear tire on the front stock rim/wheel or do I need to purchase a wider front rim/wheel?

The front wheel on a venture is a 16" wheel.
I put a Michelin Comander rear 150/80-16 on mine.

Thanks so much for your getting back to me Mike. Exactly what I needed to know. I am fairly new to trikes but completely new to putting a rear tire on the front.
Did you reverse the tire or put it on normal?
At this point with so many threads talking about reversing the tire, that's what I plan on doing.
Your welcome Charley.
I'm new to trikes myself but not to motorcycles. I've heard for years that when mounting a rear tire on the front, due to the way the belts are seamed together, that it's rotation should be reversed so thats what I did. Seems to be working very well.
