Been running Jason's fans for another 10,000 miles and no issues since a thermal switch replacement to the snap switch that has a broader range of on / off than the creep switch in earlier versions. I honestly believe that you are playing down the Wards fans because he no longer is a sponsor. Your site your call but I am not a "Love Jug fan" no pun intended. I remember last year my post being taken down on this site because I challenged the data provided by Love Jugs. I still return because I like the people here.
And I will always support our troops (Jason).
Keep us safe and good product Jason.
You are 100% wrong here bud. First off Wards was never a sponsor here and second off, I am stating facts that have been brought to my attention by numerous Ward's owners. The failures were already showing up here in months past, but when I met a shop owner who's word I know to be true, who tells me he has gone through three sets of Ward's fans, yes that got my attention and I felt it warranted being shared with the community.
I have no problem with Jason Ward. We've communicated via email and as I said above I think he's a decent guy, but that does not mean I believe he produces the most effective, high quality, most durable product, because I know that is clearly not the case. On the other hand I'm not saying it's junk either, there are lots of them out there.
You started your above post by saying "no issues (with Ward's) since a thermal switch replacement to the snap switch that has a broader range of on / off than the creep switch in earlier versions". So here is yet another issue with your own Ward's fans, so thanks for further confirming a history of issues. This is exactly what I was trying to communicate to those considering buying cooling fans.
We are all adults here and we can all make an informed decision on what we want to spend our money on. I'm not twisting anyone's arm, I'm just providing reliable information by which you can make your own decision.
