I've decided to try a folding boat seat for the front seat on my home made trike. Anyone done this? Ideas, suggestions, or experiance will be appreciated.
Thanks for your time

Hmmmm ... might want to check the laws about seats ... I know there are some doozies.
The gray looks like it would work, the green one probably not.
Not a bad idea really, you know a boat seat will be weatherproof.
You can see the back of mine be pretty nice on there .
we all have our faults .....others point them out to us......guess we know what theirs are
Wow vw rider, you must be psycic. The grey and black is the one I have. I bought it because it has hing that is different from most. I think I can modify the hing to change the angle of the back. It's been raining so much here that I haven't been able to get out to get it mounted.
Thanks for your time.
I guess we thinking along the lines. It looks like it would be comfortable to sit in all day. Now the green one, you could mount that in back for your mother-in-law.
I had the boat seat mounted yesterday. I've only got to put about 150 miles on it, but the initial thought is WOW THIS IS GREAT!!!!! I think it's gonna be a good deal. My hip pockets don't slide around on the curves. I would add a picture, but I couldn't figure out how. But it looks pretty good.

We'd like to see a picture. When you are posting text scroll down until you see "manage attachments", click on that, click on 'add files", click on "select files", you can then choose a file to upload from your computer. Select a file and click on "upload files". After the file has loaded click on "insert inline". That will put the picture in the window of your post.
I've tried several times and can't get apicture in. May be my tablet can't do it, or more likely, the operator can't figure it out.l But I've put a few hundred miles in the seat and I'm ready to try an Iron Butt. It is some kinda comfortable and it pretty much fits the style of my trike.
