Pillion seat removal on trike

Has anyone removed the pilliow (passenger) seat on a Suzuki Boulevard trike? If so do you have pictures, do you like it with just the solo seat? Did you leave the passenger hand bars on or remove them too?

I'm just curious, I will never ride with a passenger on back and already decided I will take the back rest off and store it but then I saw pics of a Boulevard 2 wheeler with just the solo seat and I like the look. I think I saw a picture of a trike with out it on and trying to find the picture again.

I have too much time to think about such things until all this darn snow melts and it warms up. Waiting on my new shed for the trike to be leveled (hopefully this weekend) and then I can bring him home from the dealer. *sigh*

There should be one screw at the back of the P-pad. Remove that screw, then pull the pad back from under the strap and simply lift up. Done deal ThumbUp

You might also want to remove the strap & bracket that's now exposed behind the rider's seat. Remove the 2 screws holding the bracket on, remove bracket then re-install the 2 screws to hold the rider's seat on.

For mechanical questions regarding the Boulevard portion of your trike, you might dig this place: www.volusiariders.com

Good luck and (when the weather allows) Ride Safe......
