Last night I lost a fellow biker, co-worker and great friend. He had surgery for a cervical spine issue last week and I'm still waiting to hear what happened.
I found out this morning when I sent an e-mail to our receptionist to find out how he was getting along since his surgery. A few minutes later I got the response that shocked me to the bone. I'm 65 and he was 60.
I have been out of the office a lot the past year dealing with cancer treatments so I keep contact with everyone via e-mail. Yesterday morning I had posted the following on my facebook page status and didn't realize at the time how true it would be. "Today is a gift and there are no guarantees for tomorrow."
Rest in peace Jim!!!!!!!!!
