Very cool, but "my" first car was a 1980 Ford Pinto that I inherited from my older sister in about 1983. Great car no matter what others say about it. But I love cars of the 50's, maybe that's why I drive an HHR now
Memories
Stallion #406 // 2013 Tri-Glide
Oh, yeah! My first car was a '50 Ford flat head 8. That show had a '49 & '51. Grandad had a '56 Ford with the Tbird engine & the best sounding pipes in the county! My hottest "car" was a '58 Ford F100 with my version of a 390 -- punched out to 406 with lotsa goodies inside that engine. First time our Son drove it he came back white as a ghost & shaking like a leaf -- from just going around the block! Dates at drive-ins -- ummm -- maybe best leave it at that! $.25/gal gas, cigaretts $.19, candy bars $.05 -- BIG ones for $.10! Don't remember .05 pop, but .10, yes. Gettng busted for speeding & facing more severe consequences from Dad than the Sheriff's Deputy. Those WERE fun times!!

I can't remember all that far back as I was still a swimmer in my dads trousers
I've always loved cars from the early '50s...... wonder if that has anything to do with a good lookin' college guy I dated for a while in a gorgeous old Lincoln convertible. Even then the car was a classic and turned heads!!!
49 Plymouth business coupe, 1950 Dodge,1956 Chev conv,1966 Dodge Dart GT,1966 Corvair turbo conv. so where are all these show cars now ? Where do they go ,? What do u do with it?
The clip sure brings back memories. I remember back in the 60's when all we did was spend every spare dollar modifying our cars. Last fling was around 10 years ago... a '65 Chevvy to match the mates '64 Plymouth. We had a rock band named Mid-Life-Crisis and did a lot of outdoor gigs... sigh, memories. Now my life revolves around motorcycles and trikes. Such is life
:wave4:I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it
Hey, John! We must have similar tastes in cars. Among mine were a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe, a 1957 Chevy 2-door sedan (don't see too many of those) and a 1965 Dodge Dart GT.
Thanks Dave. I wish I still had some of my old cars. Nothing to fancy but I thought they were the fastest in town.
