Check out Ram Mounts online catalog. Some of the best made mounts in my opinion and lots of interchangeability.

I found one that works well (someone over at HD Forums made it). It's a bracket that uses the outer bolt on the windshield. I purchased one and used it on my '12 Tri, but have not tried it on the '14 Tri, it comes with a longer bolt to make it work.
Also on the same forum, someone had one that mounts on the forks.
I think it was Dennis Swan over at www.tglidestuff.com.
Dennis had tried a mount out that was for the engine guard or the forks, I can't remember which. But send him a note.

I have ram mounts that have worked well for me. The one that is currently on my '14 TG has been on several bikes, probably has over 100K miles on it and works just as well as when I first got it.

Post 28 is the mount I ended up using.

Like most above, I had a RAM mount in my '03 Dyna. Moved it to the Ultra, then the '09 Trike, now the Freewheeler.
A couple of hints IF you choose the RAM mount, get the longer neck, the short one will have your windshield and faring in the pictures. I drilled a hole in the case and ran a USB power cord up there. Otherwise you will run out of battery in about 40 minutes of video, or 4 hours of stills. I use a second case (about $40) without the hole for the boat and Seadoos.
Good Luck

Why 3 wheels?
because 2 isn't enough and 4 is too many

I also have the Ram mounts. The clamp is on the left handle bar next to my cup holder. I have the 6 inch extension from the clamp to move the gopro out enough to clear the windshield. Setup works great and no problems. I did get the skeleton case for the gopro so I can run a charging cord to the 12 volt lighter socket. If it looks like rain or is raining then I change to the waterproof case or else leave it stored. I am planning on adding the LED screen attachment to the back as that adds menu features, on/off and live view from the camera rather than using the remote (which I don't have) or my smartphone. This way it is easy to see what is being recorded by the unit and easy to turn on or off.

I use a mount made by Hogtag collar (http://www.hogtagcollar.com/) it mounts with a clamp on your upper fork cover. There is absolutely no vibrations with the camera mounted in this spot. It give a really nice perspective when viewing a video. The clamp has a rubber backing on it so it will never scar your forks and when the camera is mounted no one really notices the camera so if you go inside to pay for gas you don't have to worry about the camera being gone. This also uses the gopro mounts so your go pro is easy to put on or take off.
Here is a photo of the mount on a street glide. I have a 14 trike but the mount is identical.
