I also never liked crawling all over the ground or getting up & down with my bad knees.... I started with my 1000# Handy bike lift before I triked then I added some 3/4" Plywood to allow my trike to fit.... was always having to help this rig up as it was about 300# over weight and no very stable as a trike / top heavy and not designed for this use.
When I retired three years ago it was time for a change that would not fall on someone and my riding mowers and mini Kubota along with the trike could be worked on in comfort. Enter my choice after looking at many different things / K&L MC625R Heavy Duty Air Lift :

The website is full of information and has a video, Accessories available and a Manuel !!! I have found no trike that will not fit on this lift!!
I opted for the Air Version as they also have a Hydralic Model that seemed a little more messy and required more maintenance. It lifts 1750# so adding accessories is not a problem and at 500# it doesn't move around / I added the following and why I did...: #35-9926 Wheel Vise , #35-0321 Retractable Wheel Set , allows you to move the lift around, #35-6557 Front Extension , to allow extra space to pull farther forward and chok the tires, #35-6770 Nose Wheel for wheel set, #37-8660 Fat Jack , I use this for lifting the front from under the motor to access front pad changes for wheel removal - very stable, #37-9841 Center stand w/Adapters , for lifting the rear under the trail hitch area on my Roadsmith , also found one of these similar on EBAY - but this sissor lift will pickup the trike rear just fine for placing jack stands.
Oh and no more crawling around on the ground, work area is 40" to the deck and it locks when raising at every height click, has a little foot movable unlock to go back down. I use the same compressor I have used for years with a max. pressure of 120PSI but normally set at 100..
with the trike on the deck it takes less than 1 minute to get it eye level and locked at the top height. I'm so happy and confident with the lift I store my trike on it during the winter and address items that need work as needed. Today is oil change, tire pressures and grease ftgs day.... Friday the 13th
Whatever you decide get a little over kill, so it won't fall on you later...... FYI
