Sheepskin covers & Kury Grips

Had my sheepskin covers for over a week now waiting on the Kury Hand Grips from E Glides to install everything at one time.

Today was that day. The hand grips arrived today and the install began. Everything took me about 2 hours as I was taking my time. The Village Shop made my covers in a Pewter color. I received 4 pieces to cover all seating areas. The only problem area I had was with the back piece that fits underneath the passenger backrest. I needed longer screws with the added thickness of the sheepskin cover. Other than that everything went together like clock work. I was even surprised to see they had made a pocket to access the RZ switches. The pocket is Velcro connected and I have it apart to show it off.

The wife had voiced a need for hand holds on the next ride. I found the GR-09 hand grips on E Glides site and bought them.

They installed right over the bracket for the riders backrest. I think they look pretty nice and blend in with the trike. I would recommend either site for your covers or grips.

can I ask you what the price was for the Sheep Skin covers?? I was looking for a set for my Triglide. and you did say the "Village Shop"?

Hard enough that you don't want to do that. It takes some work to get them on right, removing them for rain wouldn't be something I would want to do.

I do not take mine off when it rains. I usually cover it at night with the HD seat rain cover. If I know it's going to rain while I'm riding I leave it on. If it does get wet the water brushes right off. I blot it really good with a towel and it's rideable. It really does not get soaked it repels most water.

http://www.villageshop.com/ Dan is the name of the person I dealt with. Turn around time was pretty quick. I was quoted 3 weeks and it was shipped in about 10 days. This was the best price I could find on the net. I asked for color samples and they sent them right out to me. Service is good and craftsmanship is excellent to me. Everything fit like a glove. The underside of the seat has 4 Velcro straps and loops to draw them through, making sure the cover doesn't move on the seat. I removed both the passenger backrest and filler pad to install properly both of those covers. The edges of the covers were protected with a binding material and Velcro straps sewn onto that.

The hidden flap is done so well I didn't even know it was there until I put the seat on the trike and saw it.

This was a first time experience dealing with this company and I am very happy with the results. There was some question about the riders back rest measurements. I sent them a cardboard template to help them make it. When I put it on it fit exactly and looks great. There were several e mails back and forth for the production team so they knew just what they were making and that they had all the templates to do so. Real professionals in my opinion. Everything was shipped out of Oregon.

I liked the personal service and attention to detail. They were reluctant to start the riders backrest until they knew what the radius on the ends was. Sending them the template was the easy way for me to convey that to them. The ends weren't identical and the cover reflected that and fit just right. I think the web site shows a Pa. store which surprised me when the package arrived from Oregon.
