Might want to check on this. According to info from a couple years ago, drop in replacement bulbs (LED and HID) are illegal as the reflectors are designed for a different type of bulb with a different light pattern. Dropping the improper type bulb in a stock reflector will result in light reflection in the wrong direction and possible blinding of oncoming traffic even with proper aiming, which may be impossible with the drop in bulbs. In states that require yearly inspections, these drop in bulbs will most likely fail.

These work very well from the riders perspective, and we've not had any cages flashing their brights like you would normally see if they were being blinded.

However, as stated in the description-

These are Not DOT Approved. Legal for Off-Road Use Only.

Here is a pic against a wall, it has a pretty well defined cut-off, so the light is not going willy-nilly everywhere.

Do you have a equal replacement for the little spot lights Harley has? Would look tacky to change one and still have yellow spots. JMO

I agree with you, and we are working on it.

I personally don't need it for my TG or Softail, because I have the amber spots. But for most, it will be nice when we have the matching LED spots bulbs. Should be soon.
