Camping on the Road- an introduction

Long distance riding, or those adventurous outings, are what we are passionate about. Yes, we are a brand and we sell a product, but this isn't about selling you our product. For me, travel is difficult but the aspirations to get out and experience places I've never been and see things I have never seen are very much there. Our company is based in Jacksboro, Tennessee. We are a stone's throw from, arguably, the most beautiful scenery in the eastern U.S.

Bunkhouse Trailers wants you to get out and experience the road and the places you love or those places you have never been. Even if it isn't in a Bunkhouse, we would love you to share some of the photos from the road in your campers. Our tagline is: Where Will It Take You? But, for the sake of this post, we would also like to know "Where Has It Taken You?"

Here is a photo from a Bunkhouse owner:

My little bride and I have camped in tents, and in trailers, the one we are using now is a little tuff to put up by my self, however I do get it done as my little bride is not able to help me. I would like to see someone build the Travelite hardtop type trailers again, as the one we used in the 80's was the easy set up I believe I ever did. Don't know how to put pictures up but I will be following this blog.:NoJoke:

Ray, Bunkhouse campers offers two models. They have the King LX and the Queen models. The Queen features a queen size bed and it can be setup by one person in less than one minute. The King LX can be setup by one person but it is a little more difficult. The King LX can easily be setup in a couple of minutes by two people but may take around 5 minutes if you are setting it up alone. It sounds like the Queen would be perfect for you.

Mary and I have decades of memories of open road camping. About the last 10 years have been with pop-up tent campers...before that was with traditional tents on the ground.

Must have been around 9 years ago, I have no recollection what state we were in, but I remember a nice few days of relaxing and some good food. :)

My wife and I have pulled our Bunkhouse all over our this great country of ours. We like sleeping in the same bed each night. When we stay for more that a couple of days, we set up the extra room. It gives us more than enough room to live comfortably. When we know that it is going be hot, we set up our air conditioner, as in these pictures of our set up in Branson, Mo in 2013.
