2019 Tri-Glide.......
Think I saw one on an early HD at the Wheels Through Time museum. Can't imagine why anyone would want one. Real turn of the century.
this shifter is designed for new bikes and looks to be of good quality. b&b bright side shifters on the internet.
I'm really trying to understand the attraction of a right side tank shifter. You take your hand not only off the bars thus reducing your ability to steer, but also away from the brake and and the throttle so you can shift? I'm sure there are some riders that for whatever reason want or need one, but it sounds like something I'll never want. Good luck with that.
i'm looking at this because i lost my left leg in a accident last sept. need some way to shift my new trike when i get it. i was looking at the pingel electric shifter ,but i would rather shift it myself. i have been looking for several months and there is not much out there in the way of controls for people missing parts. really kind of surpised because surely there is a good size market for things of this nature.

Harley Davidson and Indian. I got along with em alright, Its just a matter of what your used to?
reminds me of my miss spent youth. Told you I was old school!
Sometimes I long for those days of using ford radius rods to extend front ends and cutting frame necks for rake and using plumb bobs to keep it all straight while you weld it up, I Kinda miss some body putty in the neck for effect, sculpting the rear fender with brazing and welding rod and a hack saw. I miss kidney belts and ridged frames and garage paint jobs and simple inexpensive enamel paints.
I kinda miss those winter days with my dad and uncle doing 50,000 mile rebuilds in the barn. I miss building your own bucket seat frames with round stock and mom upholstering them.
Maybe that's why I still ride a 26 yr. old bike?
Or maybe im just obstinate!
