Going to look at this Rewaco VW Trike and have no idea what it is worth. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure so I won't get took? This is all the info I have "this is a rewaco trike factory made.completely rebuilt about a year ago.it has new motor/ wiring /lights stereo.upholstery and only has around 800 or so miles on it." I provided a link that should carry you to it. Hope it works. If not, thanks anyway.

Trikectr, who is a member here is a Rewaco dealer and distributor. PM him and I bet he can give you some advice. Sounds like an excellent deal. Just make sure everything is on the up and up (maybe to good of deal).

sounds like a good deal. check the crankshaft endplay by pushing and pulling on the bottom pulley. should be very little movement, .004 to .006 thousands play is ok,if it feels like a notch the case is bad. a lot of people rebuild these engines and never check the case. better safe than sorry.

Thanks for your response. I am going to a swap meet tomorrow that the trike will be at. May get some additional info on it and then send it to the dealer and see what he thinks. I thought it looked like a good buy.

I'm not an expert on what type of trikes Rewaco makes, but I've never seen one like the one in the picture made by Rewaco.

I agree. I am having problems finding a Rewaco Trike like this one. I have searched the net but could not find one even similiar. I am going to lay eyes on it today. I think it is early 90's but I am no expert either.

It IS a mid 90's rewaco - HS1 i would say. Usually can tell by the bodywork where you would generally see a tank nowdays.

The Herman Munster thing could be ok depending where you live but might make ya a bit unstable at speed lol

Good luck with it. Let us all know how you go

Yep, your right! It is a mid 90's HS1. Looks just like a lot of home built trikes.

Looks like it might be a very decent deal to me if everything had been re-done and it checks out in person. Let us know what you find out.
