Thank you very much for clearing the degree rake up. I was having all kinds of visions of a trike w/a 9degree rake based on the look of the 4.5 on my Wing I was thinking, talk about stress on fork bushings, etc.
Also, very good explanation on the steering dampener not needed.

I have a 2010 HD trike and it shakes like hell at 5mph if I let go of the bars at all.
I wanted to change the damper but can find one except from HD for about $560.
p/n I found was 83808-09A and not found on ebay anywhere.
anyone know of a bone yard or junkie that you can buy from?
Forgive me for the confusion. My Road King had a -3° rake from the factory as a two-wheeler. The 9° rake kit gives it a +6° rake, 9° over stock.

Here is my take on this....
The wobble is due to the pulsing of the torque power from the engine/ transmission through the rear end via the belt drive. It will cause that push forward through one side of the rear end which in turn makes the handlebars wobble at a slow speed
