My buddy recently bought a trike that seemed to run pretty well. He decided to get a larger CC engine as he had no idea about reliability of original & didn't want to be stuck somewhere with a failed engine.
Engine was supposedly 1900 with Engle W-120 cam. Had a Weber Progressive & didn't run too well with it.
I changed carbs to dual weber 40 IDF. Runs much better now it is getting fuel that is still atomized. I pulled a head & found out the bore size, checked cam lift on a pushrod with dial indicator & all parts seem to be as advertised.
There are two types of original style rockers available. (That I have seen listed, without getting into high lift rockers.) 1.1 to 1, or 1.25 to 1 ratio. So my question is how do you tell the difference between the two, to know which type you have in case you need to replace later?
Hope someone can help me on this.
