How the hell do you get the footpegs off when you have floorbourds. I have tried using a small mirror to get at the tiny split pins but with no success.

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
That's right Solidbob. The floorboards are plastic. The plate that holds the footpeg has two bolts, and also has a metal arm attached.that holds. the
footboard up. I guess I will remove the two bolts, and see if I can get at the split pin that way.
The company that converted my GW to a trike dirtdobber, left the footpegs on the bike, when they put the plastic floorboards on.I tend to get cramp in my hips with the present ergonomics so I need to have room to stretch my legs forward. I am
78years old so I am starting to get various physical aches and pains.
Depending on the kit you have they are for my Roadsmith kit called Wing Guards... Floorboards are actually the Chrome Flat Boards you put your feet on, tall folks sometimes totally remove the footpegs or floorboards as long as their fiberglass Wing Guards are weight bearing for comfort... here's a couple of photos....
