Hi all from not so sunny CA. I'm waiting on my CSC kit to arrive in Sacramento. This is the hardest part. If all goes well about two more weeks till my first ride.

Thanks for the welcome all. This will be my first venture on a trike. My previous ride was a 2003 Kaw Voyager XII. Great bike but Iwas getting tired of watching the oil spills, Gravel on the road and holding 800 lbs of bike up at every stop, So........... I traded it in on a 2010 GL1800, Pearl Yellow because someone once said that was the fastest color so now I'm waiting on a CSC kit, and getting anxious. Will check in after the first ride for sure.

Hey bajacamper, while you wait for your CSC kit to arrive, take time to read the posts in the following thread. If you are new to riding a trike, some of the points here may be helpful to you when you do start riding. It is just as much fun as two wheels, in its own way, but there is always a little adjustment period as you go from two to three. Happy reading!!!!

Good stuff, Thanks
bajacamper like the posts say the first time is intimitating. Work your way up to 400 miles and you will be okay. Make sure you get a rake kit on that conversion you will not be sorry.

My first ride on 2 wheels was in moto safety training school. Scared sh**less, but it worked fine because ever since then I have tried never to ride beyond my abilities. :eek:After I ride my Goldwing to Sacramento, about 200 miles, I plan to forget most of the things needed to ride a 2 wheeler. Will the ride back on my trike be an adventure? Oh Yeah!
Welcome to the smartest trike forum around. I know.. like you I am almost a newbie (just 1k mls under my belt). Also have a CSC kit on a 2004 1800GL...fastest color RED!! Seriously, there is a shipload of great instruction & advise in this forum. USE it! I have also responded to yr trailer thread. What's with that?
You dont stop riding because you're getting old. You get old cause you stopped riding
