Hmmmm ... the smack early warning system works. Glad you and the wife are safe.
We took a little ride on the back roads yesterday.
On the way home, we were putzing along on a county blacktop road.
I was looking at drilling rig that was tearing down on the side of the road.
She suddenly smacks me on the shoulder and points to the right.
Three TURKEYS came running out of the ditch, chased by a COYOTE.
Thankfully due to low speed and her warning, I managed to miss all of them.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Hmmmm ... the smack early warning system works. Glad you and the wife are safe.
Great to have another set of eyes with you.

I don't know I'm thinking some fresh turkey sandwiches would be good!
I installed a similar system as an Overspeed Alarm.
As soon as I go a little over speed limit, I receive the aforementioned smack to the head. Not so bad now, but when I was on 2-wheels, not so good to be surprised at 90mph.
As soon as her 2nd cataract is taken care of in a couple weeks, I expect she will be seeing all things on the side of the road...probably mostly "Sale" and "Discount" signs!
I can't get to the highway from the house. Without getting instructions on what I'm doing wrong!<br />
She has come in handy a couple of times though.

I have a friend who rides with me and I feel like a "thigh master" machine.... Every time she sees something up ahead I get squeezed...
Keeps me alert and I guess it helps keep her lets toned..
