Looks good. Heard a lot about the plasti dip, haven't tried it out yet. Will be interested to hear how it works out.
Thought I would try this, if it doesn't hold up I can peel it off and try truck bed liner, etc. It has been on two days and about 400 miles. I have cleaned them with plain water, so far so good.

I have used it on wheels- bike and trailer, forks and other parts, it's pretty tough. Good news is it only takes a minute to fix any scrap or dig.

Cool idea, I just used plastic dip on the silver panels on my black 93 GW . Now its pretty much all black and chrome! I like the way it turned out.
How did you apply it? Spray? Roller? Brush?

Now that's something I hadn't thought of. Need to do something as I keep getting black scuffs on my left fender. From what I hear about it is it's easily removable if it doesn't work out.
I would think this would be great for rocks too ... the rubber will absorb the impact, rather than just chip ... curious how it holds up.

Let us know how the clear works out. I think this stuff has lots of potential and I stink at applying the 3m stuff.
I wonder how it will work on fork lowers. I was going to powdercoat mine gloss black, but I think I'm going to try Plasticoat first. I've seen a couple of videos on line and you cant tell the close up quality from the video, but it looks pretty good. Has anyone done their lowers?

Bought some today at ACE hardware. I'll do the fenders this week.

I Plastidipped my saddlebag covers on the Harley after I lost one on a ride. For now it is a lot easier and cheaper than paint, though to match I probably will get them painted this winter.
I put 5 or 6 coats on according to tips I found on line, they lood like the matte "denim" finish on some Harleys. It has held up to being dropped and by boots rubbing against them. I had some runs (my own fault) on one of them, and I just peeled the stuff off and sprayed some new coats.
I tried the clear glossifier stuff that is supposeed to make it shiny, but it seemed to collect more dust and stayed a bit sticky. Interesting stuff - you can get a few different colors in rattlecans and also comes in bulk that can be sprayed with a HVLP paint gun. The bulk is a little thinner to be sprayed with a gun and the hues can be mixed to create different colors.
