BMW trike

Thats no spyder...it is REALLY expensive to buy and maintain. 2 wheels in the front is about the only thing they have in common.

From their specs 175 hp and top speed of 140 mph.....1300 cc engine. hp is at 9200 rpm. 140 pd ft torque...most of us don't ride at 9200 rpm so most of the power would be wasted.

Base price $81,489 whew !!!!!

The new Spyders cost less to maintain than the ones with wheels in back! ThumbUp Tom

I am not sure there is enough experience with the new Spyders to accurately make this statement. The Wings are pretty bullet proof, the TG's are as well. Those are the two predominate brands of trike on the road. Spyders are still a small portion of trikes sold. I'd like to see you data though. My 14 TG has had NO work done except the normal maintenance.
