Lehman?
Been doing service on a trike for a lady but it has been sitting for several years. Got it to running pretty good, changed all filters.
The rear end is leaking fluid. The gasket is bad. I need to know who makes it so I can get the gasket.
It has a 7, 9, 10 bolt rear end. Can't raise it yet.
Don't like much being finished.

Yep, Lehman kit for sure. You'd have to call them for more info on the rear differential. That one is over my pay grade!
... Made the journey (from 2 to 3 wheels) now enjoying the ride ...

Look on the axle for an id # and co.name. Also look in the trunk etc. its there somewhere mine is on the axle.
Tell you all you need to know to do a complete parts search.

the difference between a good trike and a bad one depends entirely on the integrity of it's builder!
It was built in 1998 but the owner died and his daughter wants to start riding it. She can not find the paper work, Haven't found anything as what it is. No serial number etc... thanks again. I check it out.

I texted her and she said yes that is it, I remember now.
so tomorrow I can clean the rear end and get a gasket, cool.
I just hope all the lights work on all those places. It is loaded with lights. I hate working on wiring I did not do.
Thank you guys, that was some big help.

Am guessing you texted the daughter and she confirmed that it's a Lehman, yes ? The 2002 Lehman/Suzuki trike I've got had the same Dunlop G/T Qualifiers
Paul made some good points in that there should be an I.D. tag on the axle and that Lee H. Mann would probably know exactly what you've got. Did a complete brake job on mine, there was no I.D. tag on the axle and had one helluva time I.D.'ing all of the parts. It'd be interesting to know if the one you're working on has the I.D. tag.......
Pretty sure Lehman used Ford rear ends from the 1970's on thru to at least 1980, but that's only my best guess. The GoldWing is larger which may explain the 10 bolt rear differential cover and maybe a 7.5 or 8.8 ring gear ? This smaller Suzuki as an 8 bolt pattern and probably a 6.75 ring gear. This one also has hubs with a 4 lug pattern. Near as I can tell, the rear end is probably from either a 1975 Pinto or a 1980 Mustang, so you can see that Lehman used various models and years.
Worst case scenario if there's no I.D. tag is that you could take the rear differential cover to NAPA and they could probably match it up to the right Ford gasket.
Good luck and have FUN with the project

Well I actually got it finished. I called lehman and they sent me a brake parts guide and a replacement parts list.
If any one needs or wants it just send me a pm with your email, as the files are too large to post.
