I'm running a 70 over an SE spring on a heavy trike and trailer "well loaded" with my wife's stuff.. no slip issues. The spec. may suggest a heavier unit, but the 70 works well for my set up. Two-finger pull with manual clutch and stock ramp-n-ball. Stage II, ported/flowed intake runner, V&H true duals and 203 cams, probably the same hp as something close to a 103. If you have a stock spring....84 may work well for you also.<br />

The VPC was designed to prevent clutch slippage on race motors with very heavy springs and clutch-packs. We use it in reverse fashion....to provide an easier clutch pull. If you don't plan to race or have a habit of popping wheelies...the 70 ought to be fine. It provides the greatest reduction in clutch-pull.

If you have the easy-pull set-up in there already...the 84 should be fine for that.

Been awhile since I posted on the forum.....had the 84 installed on my '09 TG. Why or why did I wait almost a year to have that done!! What an improvement. Well worth the $$

Thanks Ultraboy!
