i decided it was time for a change...

i decided that it was time for the trike to get a little facelift. i know you loved the way it looked before Nana, but it was time for a change. <br />

chopped rear struts and fender, powder coated tins and foot pegs, removed the rear tailight and using turn signals as running/brake/turn lights, relocated license plate on the swing arm and a few other odds and ends...<br />

it's still growing on me, but i like the way it turned out overall. what y'all think?<br />

Hey Grimm! Great pictures. Yes....I did love the way it looked before, but I love this too. The chopped fender will take some getting used to, for me, but the rest is awesome. And you've kept to the original's powerful feel with those big tires and the lean, spare look. Nice!!!!

yeah, i've been asked if it's legal a few times. luckily in texas, they are cool with it. i've ridden through louisiana, mississippi, florida, alabama and georgia and haven't had any issues with the fenderless look, either. maybe that's cuz other states have reciprocity with each other. <br />

the tires are far enough away from me, but a passenger better keep their feet forward and their hands up! haha!

Grimm....I must say it's a vast improvement! You're in show-trike territory there dude. Maybe all the armadillo's in Texas can see you coming now and you won't be mashing as many as before. You can mash as many as you want....it keeps them from wandering over here to the east.

I will be coming back down through there from Taos on down through Lubbock and I want you to squash as many as possible between now and late June.

That's one sweet ride there... I went with the 38" axle and narrower tires so that a rider doesn't get torn in half if they have too many hops sodas and drop their feet LOL

yeah, if my passenger knows how to ride with me then everything is fine but it freaks newbies out. i always make sure they know how to ride too. just like a bike. when turning, look over my inside shoulder and lean with me if i lean...
