Well,
I'm going to make an offer tomorrow to one dealer, then If that doesn't work I am scheduled to meet with another dealer on Saturday Morning. may the best man win!
But, I'm also ready to walk if no reasonable deal is met.
So wish me luck!

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Where ever you get it...congrats on the new ride soon to be at your home!

I've never had too much luck negotiating ... something to do with new and shinning ...
Both the sales person and sales manager are willing to work with us. We took a nice ride, wife liked it. But, we still need to work on some price issues. Plus we only rode on a 2013 ( ran hot on the right side for both her and I). So before my wife will sign off on it we need to ride the 2015 ( which I know will run cooler). So I'm anxious!
Patience.... Patience
Just an opinion here: Rush Head Pipes. Ceramic coated inside and out and can drop temps by Hundreds of degrees. So with the wet head, a good tune ~ Breather and pipes, you can really cool that right side down. As far as I know, Rush is the only exhaust manufacturer coating inside and out. Again - Just my opinion.

Oh yeah, one last word of advice--
Whatever they offer you, act STUNNED. Say that you were sure they could do better than that. Even if it's something you can live with. You might get something to sweeten the deal right then and there.
Even if they don't, the offer they gave you will still be there.

I just am curious on how the passengers feel on the 2015. Honestly that will be the sell to buy this trike. I love it, it's smooth and feels good. I just want to make sure the wife is happy.
The cost--a lot if you consider 2K and up a lot.
Passenger--both of my passengers have been my daughters, one of which is 85 lbs, and other is 115 lbs. Not enough for me or the bike to tell the difference. When I ride two-up with my wife, who is larger than the aforementioned daughters, I'll report to you.

Between the wife and I, we have about 400 lbs on the trike. The only thing she doesn't like is a hard bump, but that is the case in the car too. I have had to wake her up a few times when her helmet hits my back if that tells you anything. And we had neither one ridden in 25 years or more when we bought ours in January.
Went for a ride on 2015. Wife liked this one better, but still unsure. We will ride a Can-Am spyder tomorrow morning, then a CSC hopefully on Sunday. I am really pulling my hair out at this point. I do like the harley, but not the price. Still concerned about the heat on right side for my wife. We talked with parts guy and he suggested that we can take out the CAT, and add different headers that will help cool ( won't affect warrenty as well) in additionm thinking of putting a fan in (like Harley police motorcycles) so that the heat won't be as thick when your stuck in traffic. Supposably the police love them.
I'm not sure if he was telling me correct but said in Va. that everyone has to pay or put on bill for "prep, and transportation" cost. price is still out of my range compared to a Goldwing 1800 conversion.
I like the ride... really enjoyed, but comes down to wife comfort then price. So we will see where it goes from here.
Don,if you don't have to buy new, there are some great deals in the classifieds.
and used ones mostly have been modified. But this is a large purchase for most of us so you need to get what is going to make YOU and your WIFE happy.
