Had a set of reduced reach handlebars installed on the trike today. It says it has 2 inches of pullback compared to factory bars. I am AMAZED how much difference that 2 inches makes!! I have so much more leverage now than before. It literally felt like I was straining all the way down to my external obliques when rounding sharp curves at any kind of speed.

I'm not saying I don't have to used any muscles when going through twisties, but it helps to isolate it to my arms due to increase in leverage.

If anybody out there is having shoulder and/or neck pain after long rides, or rides on curvy roads, I highly recommend this install.

I love the one's I put on

Fuzz I really love the ones I installed on my 09 Tri. I have no back or shoulder strain like last year. but I installed myself last winter[MFG part number 300517] they were the wide sweepers not the narrow ones. ride safely fearlessThumbUp
Curious too ... looking at those or the Khrome Werk 2+2 (back 2" and up 2") bars.

Scott, who did the work and what was the cost?
Charlie's Harley. Cost was $905. The best shade tree mechanic in the area wanted $750 to do it. I thought it would be worth the extra $150 so Harley doesn't have something to gripe about later, saying that a future problem was related to something not their work.

$200+

ThumbUp I did mine for just over $200 new clutch cable and sweeper bars but I did have a shop manual for a guide little over 5 hours time. Not hard work but intense I had never scene th inside of a batwing before much less taking it apart. the new info systems may be different. I would never try with out the shop manual. good luck ride safely fearless

Oh yeah---forgot to say--they messed something up when installing the Wards fans they put on at the same time. My horn sounds like a bleating nanny goat, and a weak one at that. One more trip to the dealership.
