I had my 2004 Wing converted to a CSC kit in 2011. Loved it. Only thing I didn't like was the mono shock for suspension. The company has great customer service. Only reason I don't have it now was a great buy I found on a 2012 with a 2014 Hannigan kit. If you decide not to spend the extra bucks on a Hannigan, you won't go wrong with the CSC.

Another item, great trunk space. Among the largest in the field. Great styling with gracious lines. Cobra XL and Viper models both look great.

    Default CSC honda trike

I have two trikes built by CSC

The Honda is a 2014 GL-1800 with the Viper kit. Presently has about
2700 miles and was converted directly from a brand new two wheeler.

The Harley is a 2008 Anniversary Ultra Classic with the Daytona kit.
The Harley was my first CSC and was converted about two years ago.
It now has about 6000 miles on the conversion.

The Mono Shock suspension was the main reason I went with CSC.
I am very pleased with the ride and handling of both trikes.

Both trikes were converted at the CSC Factory in Arrington, VA. I visited
the CSC facility several times before I had the Harley converted. They
have an impressive factory and service/installation. The staff is a pleasure
to deal with. The fit and finish of the finished trike was excellent.

I am some what biased due to my good experience with CSC but I assure
you they are worth consideration. I suggest you give them a call.

I've had my 2010 Goldwing CSC Cobra XL conversion for about 10 days now--1,100 miles on it. It is better than I could have hoped for as far as ride quality and handling--absolutely love it. I have some vibration in the front end between 65 and 75 MPH but I believe it is due to my cupped tire--I plan to install a chrome front wheel and Avon trike tire shortly--we'll see if that fixes it.

I just recently took (2) long test rides on a new 2015 CSC demonstrator Goldwing.

My only negative comment were the very noticeable vibrations/buzzing in the handle bars at speeds over 20 mph. The demonstrator model had less than 700 miles on it.

20 MPH? Mine is smooth as silk until about 65 MPH. Then I get some side-to-side vibration in the front depending on the pavement and it goes away at about 75 MPH+. I've got a bias-ply Michelin Commander II on there that has some cupping due to running it at lower pressure--I think it has about 15k miles on it now so I'm reserving judgement until I get a new Avon Cobra trike tire on it.

I have a CSC Viper that I had installed in December of 2014 on my 2012 GL1800. I just got back from a 1600 mile trip to Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Absolutely love it. I too have a small amount of vibration at the bars but it started when I put the MPA tire on in reverse rotation. Never had the vibration with the cycle tire that I had on when it was converted.

Close to 94,000 miles on a GL1800 converted at Arrington, VA in 2007.
Other than drive shaft problems that have been corrected, there were no problems.
Just completed a 8300 mile trip and would not be afraid to leave on another one.
The ride is smooth and the brakes are outstanding.

Curious. Did it have a rear tire on the front as suggested when triking/ Before I had mine triked I put a Bridgstone battleaxe rear tire on the front mounted forward and noticed a slight vibration at low speeds at around 20-30mph due to the tread pattern. A rear tire has much more tread thus compensating for the tire running straight all the time.

As for your original question. I took possession of my newly triked 2012 on June 27th. Love the ride, the space in the trunk is fantastic. It has an upper storage shelf that wraps around the fenders. I have all my rain gear, 2 wind breakers and cold weather hand and neck gear and didn't even touch the main trunk space. Before the conversion the same gear took up most of both saddlebags.

Also a nice benefit is CSC allows you to keep the O.E.M. hydraulic spring preload adjuster. I notice a big difference in the ride when I adjust the preload. Much more than when it was a 2 wheeler.

i don't think you will be disappointed if you go with CSC.

As some have said and I agree the most important thing (more than the brand kit) is to get to good installer. You can buy the best kit but if the installer screws it up, it will be a piece of crap.

I have a 2014 Honda CSC trike that I bought in March. I love it and would buy another if needed. I have no vibration up to 100 mph.

I don't have one yet but counting the days. I just placed my order for a 2015 Viper to convert my 2014 Wing. Visited the plant last week, took a demo with Dwight and was totally sold. I like the styling, storage and the fact that I can retain the factory linked breaking system. Staff and everyone in the plant were great to talk with.

I purchased a 2012 Gl1800 new with a Viper kit installed. It has everything offered with the exception of the Aux fuel tank and parking brake. I couldn't be more pleased!

Had my 06 converted in the spring of 2014 because of knee problems. I looked at several brands, but always came back to CSC. I have the cobra xl and absolutely love it. The longer and wider wheel base makes it a very comfortable, stable ride. The storage is a big plus. The running boards are nice, it helps keep the rain and road debris off you. Had a chunk of concrete get knocked into me the other day and the board not my leg took the hit. I did have the dual park brake installed and I have used it quite a bit. I have no vibration from the tires. I have some buzz from the front tire, as it starts to cup. We went to the hill country this spring with the guys I ride with and had to keep slowing down in the twistys because I was going faster in the turns than they were.

Never had that problem when it was a 2 wheeler. I had mine done at Maxim Motorsports in Allen. There GW tech is very good and Bob in accessories is aces. Great people to do business with. I have bought several bikes from them over the years and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

This is my first trike used Cobra 08XL conversion. I considered the Hannigan their quality puts them in the top tier, CSC also being a top tier conversion seemed to be more readily available in the used trike market or at least in my area. I am impressed by the suspension, going over a bump or road imperfection with a rear wheel the bike is remarkably stable, the fit and finish also impressive. The driveshaft issue has me somewhat concerned and haven’t decided what to do have it welded or changed to a Mountain Bike conversion. I don’t think you will go wrong with either conversion, both are well engineered.

The csc drive shaft no longer has the issues of the past. They had redesigned it.
