I told you to be careful but I think you have all ready become a ( hard core triker) it don't take long does it have fun when you can and have a good day
The best thing I ever did was change out my halogen headlight bulb for LED last Monday. Compared to the old one it was like driving with a match. The new one is so white and so bright. I went to Bike Night last night and didn't get home until around midnight (I only drink diet pepsi lol). It was a 70 mile ride home with the beautiful full moon shining! I could see the sides of the road and way ahead! I was still very cautious of deer and animals.
When I got to the blacktop a motorcycle passed me and said something (its hard to hear over the roar) but he kept in front of me doing about 50. Got to my town and he pulled over at the stop sign to say something and here it was a classmate from school. It was nice not being on that lonely road.
I went to bike night and rode home most of the way with another gal rider (2 wheels) and we split before I had to get on the blacktop since we live in different towns.
Anyway it was the best money I spent so far on the trike. Next I'm having my from turn signals changed out to white led driving lights but turn amber when the turn signal is on. Then purple led lighting for under and around the trike lol.
Tomorrow is catch up day here. I've missed alot! I've been putting in 65 hours a week, working 6 and 7 days a week, one gal broke her foot another had a heart attack and a third gave notice. I'm squeezing all the riding in I can. I'm at about 3000 for the season (was hoping to be at more by now but between rain and work I haven't). I'm gonna hate winter this year!

Check out Custom Dynamics dynamic ringz. I think they are available for your metric. After I installed them I went to a led for the headlight because the ringz made the h4 look yellow. Makes you more visible day and night to other drivers too and that's a good thing.
Make sure to get clear lenses otherwise you will have Amber running knights and brighter Amber turn signals instead. I have custom dynamics rings. I love them

Money spent to improve your trike's safety is always money well spent. Me thinks you definitely have the bug ...
Oops, I forgot about the clear lenses. What Steve said about the lense color is correct. You need to match lense color to led color. Another point is rapid blinking w/led. You will read that you must use a load equalizer or an electronic flasher. Don't know what your bike uses for turn signals. Try w/out one, my tsm "learned" to blink normal after a few cycles. Apparantly some do, some don't.
I bought the Dynamic Ringz a few weeks ago and really like them. Can't quite afford the headlight and passing lamps yet, maybe during the winter I will.
Jolie you picked up the Trike Bug rather quick , and sure looks like you are having fun . Be careful in the night riding. You keep saying once you hit the blacktop, do you have a lot of dirt roads out their? The picture is a beauty.
Ride Safe
Windy, your headlight bulb is h4? If so you should be able to swap it for led. DK sells one or look on eBay. Mine came from eBay,very satisfied with it.
My headlight was an H4 and I had the Suzuki dealer install it. They had to do a slight modification but all in all it was $100 well spent with labor included. The driving/turn signal will have the right lens cover color, it's a whole kit (as I call it) and the Suzuki dealer will install it too. When I went to the dealer that I got the trike from they weren't quite sure (they don't sell Suzuki) so I just went a mile down the road to Suzuki figured they know and they did it right there and then so I didn't have to go back. I've ridden again last night in the dark (about 11pm) after going riding with a gal pal who rides and we went out to eat late. I am still very very cautious of deer but I can see further and more to the side of the road than I ever dreamed. It truly is worth the cost of the bulb!
I agree 100% that the led is better at night. But on a different forum I belong to several said they hated them. Ok with me I picked one up for $20 shipped that was installed and removed after one test ride and installed it for someone else.
Forgot to mention ... Love the pic ... Where was that taken?
