Where are the electrical guru's?
I have been considering converting my GL1500 headlight to a brighter LED unit. There are numerous "kits" to do this. Here's my problem/question... With my OEM headlight, I already have (for some time) a headlight modulator installed - which I am a great fan of... I am "guessing" that with the different wattage and electrical load of an LED set-up, that the headlight modulator would not be compatible.
a. Does this sound correct?
b. Is there an "easy" way around this (without being an electrical engineer)?
c. Are there headlight modulator kits that will work with LED bulbs?
The bottom line is - I would like the brighter light from an LED set-up, but want to maintain the safety aspects of the headlight modulator.
Yes, I could ask the "modulator manufacturer" but, for now, the unit is buried inside the headlight housing and w/o taking things apart, I forget what brand it is.
P.S. - don't waste your time suggesting that headlight modulators suck...

Check out Kriss products. They say a standard modulator will not work w/ led.
Thank you, Ray. What I have now is OK, I'm just trying to research improvements... your input is appreciated!
