Fiberglas bodied HD factory sidecars are basically all the same however the mount kits differ from year to year.
Not sure when HD stopped selling sidecars, so depending on the year of your bud's Ultra, he might have to fab one or both of the frame mounts.
I would suggest looking for a monoleaf spring setup, which is the later most recent version of HD's sidecars.
They also went to disc brake on the "third" wheel in later years.
Aftermarket cars are also an option, but it really depends on what your bud wants.

I don't have one to fit on an Ultra, but I would sell him my entire rig. Hannigan makes a great sidecar! I had an Ultra with a stock HD sidecar prior to this one. This way he could have a two wheeler and a three!
I had a Hannigan classic sidecar on a 1995 Ultra, with the brake attachment, hydraulic leveler and audio splitter connection. always good. Cant find a pic right now.
What year is his bike? I have a Spyder from Motivation and I'm in North Port if he has a 09 or newer all the mounts should fitOriginally Posted by cavie
