welcome to trike talk!!
if you decide you do enjoy riding trikes after you rent one I would try and ride different models and manufacturers so you know what's best for you

Totally agree - take your time, ride them all - you will probably get HOOKED, as we all have, good luck...
WELCOME to TRIKE TALK...Relax and concentrate on steering using a push-pull motion, leaning isn't part of the equation. The Trike will lean the "wrong way" when cornering from what You're used to. You'll get used to it, but not with just a Demo Ride.....

Welcome to the gang.
It's a different beast ... lots of pull/push steering ... no leaning ... don't forget to keep your feet up. Most of all ... go to somewhere there's little or no traffic ... then play and relax. If you have time, do some figure 8's in a parking lot, getting them smaller and faster each time ... till you tip over (just kidding) ... after you get comfy with it, then face traffic.
My first test ride lasted less than a mile ... hated it ... my salesman knew it was trike or quit riding so he talked me into another ... before I did that, I looked into here and "another forum" and got some tips like you did ... second one went much better ... still only under a mile, but, I went back to buy it ... ... had 4 miles on it when I bought it.
Never looked back ... Love it now and can't imagine being on two again.
Renting a trike on next Tuesday. All day, hope to put a ton of miles. We will see. Been told will either hate it or love it. Thanks for the tips
Welcome to Trike Talk from Missouri. One day will not be enough to tell if you like a trike or not. Take time to ride different trikes, they all ride a little different and you will see what I mean when you get on them. Happy trike hunting!
welcome aboard. get some saddle time as much as you can. then look at what you like. Trikes are really cool. allows you the riding freedom
