He also has places in other states, but those do not count.

He is difficult to get in touch with because he is always on the road and as I understand it, doesn't carry a lap top with him............

Who are you ? I think what I need right now is the 4000 mile check up ask for in the manual to protect the warrenty
Honda vtx 1800 / Champion trike

Best of all worlds would be an autorized Honda dealer who also does trikes.--dosen't seem to be a lot of Honda dealers here--lot's in the south
Lots of Harley--Yamaha and Susuki dealers around here ?

We are an authorized dealer for a trike manufacturer and we do have experience working on Champion trikes.
We have a good working relationship with the local Honda dealer.
If you like, I will check with them on doing your bike checkup and we can look over your trike part?

Regards,
Chuck

i think there is a 4000 mile maintence scheduled in the manual---don't know what it includes ---just want to be sure my warrenty stays protecred

Answers his phone every time I call no matter the day or time. How do you know he doesn't carry a lap top? Don't need one w/an I-phone or similar anyway!
He doesn't live in Texas
He has locations near Detroit, 2 I know of in Texas and 1 in Illinois.
Yes he does travel between these shops some but, has excellent staff at all locations.

I've had 2 Trikes built by Lone Star over the past 5 years and always gotten good service. I spoke with Gary after seeing your comment here. He says you've been in contact with not only him but his shop manager George Patrick in Graham TX. where your Trike was built but refused to bring it in for the service you required. You want them to come to you??!! I don't know of any Trike installer that makes house calls? What has a lap top got to do with you riding over to their shop for service?

Lone Star has tried to get too big too fast. no one can run four or five new dealerships spread all over the country each building four or five brands of trikes and get everything on every trike right. there is bound to be problems. id rather deal with a single dealer that does his own work and knows my trike nut
by bolt.
