10.5 running, revving, or idle speed.
Bike starts with gusto and runs great
BAD Battery, Voltmeter, Alternator, or meter module

I would check it with another volt meter. should be about 14. If not I would think alternator. GOOD LUCK

I never heard of the Motor Trike module giving a false reading but it is sure possible. Usual problem with those units is they start loosing segments. Like Lucky says... Check the battery voltage with a reliable volt meter. If it's showing 14 to 14.5 at high idle then you are good.

I just changed one of those MT LED displays for a friend. Not a big job but still takes time and paying attention to what's going on. :xszpv: I'm sure you are up to the task Claude !!:Coffee:

My first inclination with out looking into it personally, in my shop, would be the alternator. If the alternator is only putting out 10 volts or so that is all the battery is going to charge up to. It will start fine on 10 volts but the trike and all that it needs to run isn't going to last too long without the proper output from the alternator.
Good luck, from what I've read it isn't a super big deal to change the alternator, patience, patience, patience.
