Here is something to wrap your brains around ... Not counting girders, springers and leafs ... What make, model, year, style, design had the heaviest duty front end? ... I mean what could take the most abuse and weight? ...:confused:
 
Hmmm...

Other than girders, springers and leaf, (are you thinking Indian's leading link?) you've got the basic telescopic fork we are all familiar with, BMW's telalever & duolever, center-hub steering, and some more. Seems to me they can all be built stout if weight and size isn't a consideration, but I think one of the most robust would be a Earles fork that BMW used until the late 60's.

I been looking at the Earles and the Ural leading links ... I think with beefier shocks they might work ... Gonna have about at least 500 pounds on the front end ... Maybe close to 750 ...











I wonder what would happen if I mated 2 sets of 41mm tubes? ... hmmmmm
 
leading link, is one of the strongest,, but not the "modified spring style"

need the pcs of tubing behind the wheel to tie the sides together
