Thanks to everyone who made our Maggie Valley gathering so enjoyable in spite of a few showers. We met such nice people and hope to see them again. Hope everyone had a safe ride home. Jim and Kathleen McDonald

Kudo's to all involved. I had a wonderful time and I didn't get to meet nearly enough people during my stay in Maggie Valley. But, not to worry, I'm sure there will be another opportunity in the future. But I did enjoy riding a few hundred miles thru the mountains up-down-left-right and sometimes passing yourself on the way around the curves. Good times, good times!

Take care all,
I have been to 2 TT gatherings each is better than the last one. I met a lot a lot of good friends and no one that was not a good friend. I will not remember all the names hope I can remember the faces. But I will remember all of the good times. Would love to see all of at the next gathering.

What a great time we had for the 2 days we were there, next time we hope to actually be on our trike instead of the car but circumstances dictated our mode of transportation. Everyone we met were just like old friends, of course we won't remember all the names but thanks to all of you for making us welcome.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
Sure hate i missed it!
It was a pleasure meeting you and Kathryn.
Thanks so much for joining us at MV. Hope to see you again some day. Who knows, I may even get back to Scotland one of these days.
Been in your fair country 4 times so far.
Us old timers thoroughly enjoyed hanging out and riding, eating and visiting with each of you new guys and gals...A real classy bunch of folks, but don't worry, we will get you down on our level real quick!
LOL!
Now y'all see what I meant when I said that Trike Talk members are a great bunch of people, huh? Warm, friendly and down to earth and a few real characters who will keep you laughing. Love these great friends, one and all! If you don't have a good time at our events, it's your own fault.

Darlene and I enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones. so many folks I am sure we missed some (but will catch them the next time) and the wolf and his lady Kathryn very nice people even if they were not from Texas. Darlene and I was a little slow getting home with side trips and kinfolks we got home the 17th about 3:00 pm and was ready to be home. the goldwing seat needed a rest. 17 days of riding and visiting trike talk people and kinfolks was grate. we will be in kerrville in oct.
Good to meet you although we didn't get to visit much (you stayed at the wrong motel ) we had a lot of visit time at best western. in the evening after all the riding was done some of us had a beer and told stories.
well I told the truth I am not sure about some of them.

We've stayed at the same hotel you stayed at a couple of times too, back when the gathering was much smaller and I agree it is nice, BUT what Jr was alluding to was that you were in the 'wrong' hotel because you didn't get to hang out with and enjoy all your fellow Trike Talk members nor did we get to hang out with you. Trail Blazer and his wife Darlene are two must meet folks that you will come away being very glad you did meet them. Pretty much everyone at the gathering falls into the same category. Lots of lifelong friendships have been made at our gatherings.

(Sara and I had the yellow Toyota Corolla reverse trike!) We came over from TN Monday not knowing what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised to discover a GREAT group of trikers that made us instantly feel like part of the family! Our first TT or TOI event will certainly not be our last, that's for sure! Once the date come's up for next years Maggie Valley event (I think it's September 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th for the 2016 Labor Day weekend) we will make our reservations at the Great Western! I am thinking of purchasing a Uniden CB with a external speaker for TT trike rides. It looks like most of the trikers have CB's, and it should be great to have for trike rides.
I was very impressed with the number of trikers who didn't live next door to Maggie Valley as we do who made the event. Our 300 mile round trip to Maggie Valley was a puny nothing compared to the miles some racked up to attend the gathering! I call that dedication, and it shows an obvious love of the road and being on 3 wheels! If you are ever near Bristol (THE NASCAR track) or Kingsport, give us a shout.
We are only minutes away!
Catch everyone next year! Red Patch Marine (aka Chaplain Dave or CD) and Sara
