    Default need advise

    I just bought a disc brake conversion kit. The rotors are drilled for Porsche or Chevy. The holes are threaded. I am running 15" Chevy Cragars. I have lug nuts and washers but need to know what studs to use.

    Typical VW studs are 14mm. Not sure the pitch#.

    I got mine blank and put the pattern and threads I wanted in them.
    I would guess if you bought a Chevy pattern then it would have Chevy threads for the studs and nuts.

    I know it is drilled for chevy pattern. my problem is I am running old school cragars on it. They have to have the long barreled nuts and washers that hold them in place. Do I ignore the threads in the rotor holes and put studs in from the back or do they make a long threaded stud that I can put my nut and washer on and run it in from the outside?
    Just an old woman here trying to get back in the breeze.

    Do you know who the rotors were purchased from?
    Most vendors of said parts have a tech person that might be able to get you pointed in the right direction...

    NAPA is another good potential place to look. It's the famous "NAPA Know How" you know.
    Bring a rotor, a washer/spacer, lug nut, any other wheel hardware if any, & a rim in, & they should be able to help you.
    NAPA near me is pretty good at the "show & tell" scenario, & I've had good results showing as much as I can to them in order to get that missing link needed to get a project a little further along.

    The other chain automotive chains are basically useless when it comes to something like your issue, in my opinion.

    Napa here in my town is as useless as all the rest.

    Studs come in just about any thread and length you can imagine. You just have to find the ones that fit your set up.
    The short end the length and thread you want.
    The long end the length and thread you want.
    Screw the short end in the hub with lock tight until it shoulders out.
