That is terrible news!!!! Thanks for letting us know.
A fire that badly damaged a custom bike company in Nelson County is "suspicious," according to investigators.
Crews were called to California Side Car in Colleen just before 10:00 Saturday night.
Ray Uttaro, Nelson County's Emergency Services Coordinator, says the fire appears to have started in a dumpster behind the building. It then spread up a back wall and into the roof.
A passerby saw the fire and called 911. Five different fire companies responded and helped put out the blaze.
The building itself was spared, but many of the bikes inside were badly damaged by smoke.
State Police are looking into whether the fire was intentionally set.
I feel sorry for anyone that had their bike there. And for any of the employees that may lose work do to this. Very sad indeed

Fire was much more extensive then previously reported. CSC lost the entire production facility. They are presently trying to set up in another building 25 miles away. Hope they get up and running soon. Tom
