Psssst ... take a look in the Colorado forum ... dismal ..
At the bottom of the Forums home page there is a 'Focus Groups' forum that includes all 50 US states and several countries where substantial numbers of our members live. These forums are being under-utilized and we'd like to encourage each of you to drop in to your state or country's forum and greet your fellow area members. You never know when you will make a new friend just down the road, I know I have made a couple since moving to Texas that I wouldn't trade for anything.
We'd also like to reach out to any of you who would be interested in facilitating a local Trike Talk/T.O.I. members meet-n-greet in your area. With the membership numbers we have, I'm sure there are other trikers close by who would love to join you for a ride and your state Focus Group forum is the best place to plan your meetup. If you think you may be interested in organizing a local ride and want or need mine or Marge's support in planning it, please feel free to PM either of us.

Maybe the Texas forum will start seeing a lot more activity after this next weekend.
No doubt about that Clint! This weekend will be a lot of fun and a lot of new friendships will be forged. Not to brag on my new home state, but Texas is home to some of the finest people anywhere. Marge and I have been blessed to become fast friends with some extraordinarily smart, funny and warm Texans.
Dennis (keepinon) and Jr (Trail Blazer) and their wives are two of our best buddies in our neck of the woods (S.E. Texas)....fine, fine people as are many others who will be at this gathering. Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Randy, we look forward to seeing you and Marge at the Kerrville run! Jan and I will be meeting JR and Stan, from the Conroe area, on Friday at noon in Oak Hill, TX., then riding on down to Kerrville and the Super 8 Motel. Be safe coming down to that part of Texas! Clint, you and those others coming in, ride safe also!! See everybody there...........

Ahhhh, a hot cup of coffee and a good cigar, after a good ride.......
Thank you to those who have started using the State forums. This is a very good resource for connecting with enthusiasts in your area. Any day in the wind is better than a day on the couch.

Thanks,OJ. Ed Howard,Will Orr,and I will be riding down together, accompanied by our wives. Instead of Hwy 16,I'm pretty sure we're going to come down Hwy 281 till either Burnett or Johnson City, then cut over to Fredericksburg and then Kerrville. It's a little longer ride but a little more scenic ride than Hwy 16 and not as remote.
Sherry and I are really looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone there.
Also remember to park your attitude here. Texans carry guns and are not afraid to use them.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

"Packing" is what we do here in Texas.........
Clint, you guys and gals ride safe and we will be looking forward to seeing you there or even maybe on the road on the way in.

Sorry I missed the K-ville thing... we got in late Wed and after 1400 plus miles, my ol' butt was more than dragging and I had to catch up on work stuff... as the CEO and only employee of my business, I can't let it simmer too long without touching base with folks who contact me. I did log into my email once while in a motel using my mobile hot spot as almost all the motels we stayed at had open wi-fi. NOT a good idea to be putting passwords out onto that.
As far as "packing"... anybody former Army? When you called your M16 a "gun" they had a nifty jingle you were forced to chant over and over:
"this is my rifle and this is my gun: one is for fighting and one is for fun"
Can you imagine the changes that will occur in January when open carry takes effect?
