Thinking of a Tri-Glide

Hello, I currently ride an 07 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad, and am seriously considering moving to a Tri-Glide. Are there any members near Kitchener / Cambridge Ontario Canada, that I might be able to talk to. I am new to this forum, and I am sure I will be able to gain valuable information. Thanks

No where near where you want but I'm sure you will never look back except in the mirrors. you will wonder why it took you so long to go to the Tri glide. We love ours can't see going back to 2 wheels unless I can keep the Tri glide too. ride safely fearless

I will toss my newb 2 cents in here. I put 40,000 miles on an 06 VTX, and then traded it last year for a slightly used 13 Switchback. I really liked the Switch for solo but my wife was not comfortable at all on it. At 67, I did not want the heft of the full touring bike, so rented a Tri for a half day. Took a bit for me to get used to but wife was very comfortable on it. Long story short, traded the Switch for a new Tri and got it last Friday. Have 600 miles on it now and I really like it. Moma is happy to! If you have not rented a Tri, do so if you can. Just remember it is wider than you can see while on it, you can't lean and you don't put your feet down!

glad you have made a contact, support the try a rental if possible. Welcome aboard. ask questions there are a lot of TRI owners on here.

I'd been on two wheels since 16 yoa in mid-last century. Owing to cancer & radiation treatment my balance got tweeked so the '09 Ultra Classic got traded for a '15 Tri Glide. You must STEER this animal thru corners/curves. You can lean all you want but "no steer...no maka da corner!" I miss the two wheel lean & scraping the pegs. Wife about freaked out for the first 100 miles but our trip to Sturgis this summer was great. It's a matter of re-learning so to speak & a good thing...you don't have to worry about stability or putting your feet down at stops....jimmer
