Funeral services are Saturday ay 4 pm ct at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Roger Little and Bro. Rick Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Smith cemetery with Military Honors. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 pm Friday and 9 am until service time on Saturday.
Survivors include wife, Dana Guinn Hayes, daughters, Jennifer Luttman(Jason), Brianna Centers, son, Brandon Centers, grandchildren, John Hallman(Courtney), Matthew Edmondson, Ryan Landrum, Keith Hayes, Anthony Miles and Paige Miles.
Mr. Hayes was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran and received the Purple Heart. He was a member of Rosalie Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Tena Taylor Hayes and daughter, Gina Miles.

Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
I didn't know Jim, but seeing where he went in to rescue his wife tells me all I need to know about him. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

I can't believe this! He was just posting a few days ago.Other then here I did not know him but as much as he will be missed here I know his family and friends are really missing him. Goodbye DD,and God pless your family.
