Sounds interesting! Have not seen anything like that. Wonder about exhaust? RIDE SAFE
Was in Tennessee this weekend and saw the neatest thing. They took the hard bags and fender after the conversion and made a trunk out of them. Put in side windows and a vent. The made a pet carrier out of it, totally ingenious.

Here is a pic. *They had rigged a hitch for it. *Pretty cool. *I'd I had smaller dogs, I'd be all over that.

I'm like an old race horse..... I can still run the race -- Just ache more at the finish line and need more rest between outings.
The owners need to sit down behind the trike while it is running for at least 30 minutes-plus to personally experience the sickening burning of the nose, eyes and throat while inhaling the exhaust fumes Fido is sucking in - not to mention the loud sound his highly sensitive ears are having to endure - even if they are not "loud" pipes. The wind does not immediately blow the fumes away....
Additionally, I would sure be worried about Fido being stuck out in space back there in stop/go traffic - given as how people just can't judge distances and ram into it.
Plus - fatigue on the support bar - constant jiggling up/down/sideways - the whole thing is liable to break off sooner than later, depending how good the support was done.
And speaking of constant jiggling up/down/sideways - you know that has to be a sickening feeling for the dog.
A triketalk poster here by the name "meredog" has a much better design he sells that perches on top of one of the fenders. I believe the name of his business is Carriage Works. I haven't seen them post in quite a while but did meet them at the Kerrville Trike Reunion in 2012.
The comfort and safety for their little Dachshund was priority one with them.

The trunk actually set up higher than the exhaust of the bike. *I'm not real good at taking pics at angles. *It was almost as high off the ground as the roadmaster trunk.*
There is a vacuum created a trike which will pull back and hold some exhaust fumes and the animal is stuck in it. What about in stop-n-go traffic? Just think there must be a better way. I also know how much dirt and debris I clean off my trailer so animal is subjected all the dirt and debris the trike kicks up off the road.

Understood, I just thought it was a neat concept for recycling the parts that are taken off instead of sitting around. Maybe just as a trunk.

This is what I did with mine. It's open all the way through without the inner walls. Single wheel pulls like it's not even there. I've towed it a thousand miles. Made from scrap parts around the farm.
