Lower Floorboards??

Hi,
Anybody tried to lower their floorboards to get more leg room. Height on a two-wheeler is a compromise between lean angle and comfort but not on a trike so? Ideas? Worth the bother?

The passenger boards on our trike are set at the lowest position and have the one inch extensions.

I've never heard of lowering them, but have heard of moving them forward. That worked for me on several bikes I've owned in the past.

Lower Floorboards

Thanks. I was asking about rider boards. My knees bang the sharp points on the tank emblems. Looks like they cannot be lowered short of making special brackets. Guess the designers were afraid we' drag them when leaning over to corner. They even fold up if they do. But on a trike .... ??

The re-locators I talked about where on the riders boards.

Also been looking for lowering floorboards, so far best I could do is the kit that moves them out and forward. Then mounted the bolt on style riding pegs on the bottom of the floorboard which at least on the highway position my legs in a comfortable position. Talked with a couple of local shops and haven't found anyone yet to make the bracket needed to lower them for a reasonable cost but haven't tried that hard yet.
