HA, Janice says, BAH on Maine, go to Tuckaway Tavern for their 2 for 2 on Mondays and Tuesday. You get two lobster rolls that are so big, you bring one home. Well, she did, but you Leo, it would be a snack for you. LOL
I would love to take our group there, but most of the time it is an hour+ wait for a party of four! & good luck on parking, that can be a hassle, but I have seen trikes there in the past, so word has gotten out! LOL
But, if anybody wants, I can give them directions on how to get there.
They also have a butcher shop that have great cuts of meat, and their steak tips are fabulous, along with their mac&cheese!
Just a note, please register on the NEGathering so we may get a better count on who is going to be at the Gathering, to advise the Restaurants of the number of possible dinner guest, so they can add extra staff.

Rosy, the 2 for 1 lobster rolls use to be 2 for $19.50. Last year they increased the price to $24 and now they are $30 due to the price of lobsters.

Still not a bad deal when you consider they put a whole lobster on each roll.

Need to speak to the Mayor of Dover to see if we can store trailers and trucks in her parking lot next to the motel. So, who is bringing a trailer:

if the Dennis you listed is me, I don't have a trailer. I will be working nights the entire week so will only meet early morning. I may go on a ride or two but may need to cut off and head home so I can get some sleep before work.

Need to iron out a couple of things, and I should be ready.
One is back roads for one of the rides, trying to stay away from highways, but some times it must be done.
I also need for everybody to register to get a good count.
Need to go to the places we are going to eat at and give them dates and times so they can staff or get our own function room.

Rosy, The motel told me that they are blocking off 10 spots for us to park our vehicles so just how much more do you think that they will need?

RIDE the trike and you won't need trailer spaces!! Just saying..........

I might be able to let some folks keep their bike trailers at my house if that will help. It would be park at your own risk. I have never had an issue at my place but you never know. Depending on the size of the trailer, we might be able to park out of sight from folks passing by. Also my neighbors keep a good eye on things.

If the mayor says OK, they would be in plain sight of people going by and the police.
The parking lot is next to Chapel Street at the Janetos parking lot. I would advise to bring a hitch lock for your trailer, even if you park it at the motel. I use one, even at my house. They are cheap and will deter a common thief, but not a professional one, as they can get into anything.

Depending on the weather forecast I will ride the trike (1500miles each way ) but if the weather is iffy, I'll trailer up and it will be the first time in 61k miles.

No Red this trip as he wants to go to Maggie Valley with me and then to Va for a Sea Bee get together a week later. If all goes as planned, Jerry and I will ride the Blue Ridge with Red after Maggie Valley but not his Sea Bee meeting. Phil should be there the time I get there. Haven't heard of anyone else yet.
