Either Monkey butt, or Gold bond work well.
I am curious as to what "Secrets" some of you have and would be willing to share with all of us regarding the dreaded "Butt Burn" especially here in the South on those incredible hot and humid days. I did about 200 miles yesterday in Central Texas and towards the end of the ride I was squirming. It was in the mid 90's and humid. I have a good seat (Corbin) good highway pegs and I stop every couple of hours. I have seen "Monkey Butt" powder advertised and I was wondering if you use it or have found something else that works as well or better. Those of us that ride daily in humid climates would appreciate any insight. Thanks
Either Monkey butt, or Gold bond work well.

I use a sheepskin. It offers no cushion but it keeps you dry without powders!
The Monkey Butt powder works well, we really liked the sheepskin - cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Don't use the sheepskin since we got a custom fitted Diamond seat. She who must heeded went for the fabric seat material that rides cool. The fit of the seat seems to make a huge difference.
Underweatr makes a big difference, too. Many Iron Butt riders wear bicycle pants. Keeps everything in place and wicks away moisture.

try a 19.99 gel pad from wallyworld, they fit good and the waffle design seems to be a huge benefit, I had a seat done at BUTT BUFFERS, great people and TOP QUALITY job, not too expensive either, they sell top pads as well.
Try Mexsanna Medicated Powder at Wally world or any drug store
I am considering purchasing the LDComfort shorts and tees. I do not own one but hear a lot about them. You may go to their LDComfort site and form your own opinion. They have no under butt seams and do wick moisture away. Many swear by them, but I have yet to try them.
